This Fresh Orange Paloma Cocktail is made with freshly squeezed orange juice.
The result: The salty/sweet combo is to die for and a summer happy hour must do. Best part, it's easy to make, or request from your favorite bartender.
INGREDIENTS
2 small oranges
2 small limes
2 shots, or 2 ounces of tequila
2 tsp organic agave nectar (or to taste)
club soda
margarita salt
ice
orange wedge or slice for garnish
DIRECTIONS
Add organic agave to cocktail shaker, or glass. Freshly squeeze all of the juice from the oranges and limes and add it to the agave. Stir well. Add tequila. Lightly stir. Wet the rim of your cocktail glass with an orange wedge. Dip the rim in the margarita salt until lightly coated. Add ice. Add your freshly squeezed orange and lime juice, agave, and tequila to your cocktail glass. Top off with club soda. Lightly stir one last time. Garnish with orange wedge and serve. Makes 1 tall serving as pictured, or 2 short servings.
To Make A Kiddie Version: Skip the tequila and rim the glass with sugar instead of salt. Add more or less agave to taste.
